All programs are located in the Banquet Hall at 266 Hoddinott Rd, inside the East St. Paul Arena, unless otherwise noted. The Banquet Hall can be found on the second floor.

WINTER BREAK WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS

Monday, December 22 – Engineering for Kids

Workshop Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Arrival: Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. for check-in.

Young innovators will explore the world of STEM through two exciting, hands-on projects! In Light Up Tree Ornament, participants will design a festive ornament and build a simple circuit to make it glow. In Frozen Fun, they’ll experiment with cool chemical reactions to create frosty, slime-like mixtures. This engaging session blends creativity with science for a truly electrifying holiday experience.

Tuesday, December 23 –Breakdancing

Workshop Time: 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Arrival: Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. for check-in.

A day full of movement and creativity! The morning kicks off with Breakdancing from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., where kids will learn fun dance basics and express themselves through rhythm and style. Those attending both workshops on Tuesday December 23 can enjoy hot chocolate, games, and colouring during the lunch break. 

Note: Lunch is not included, please bring your own lunch if you are enrolled in both workshops. 

Tuesday, December 23 – Graffiti Lettering  

Workshop Time: 1:00 to 2:30 p.m
Arrival: Please arrive by 12:45 p.m. for check-in.

The afternoon brings Graffiti Lettering from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., where participants will explore urban art techniques and create their own vibrant designs.
 Those attending both workshops on Tuesday December 23 can enjoy hot chocolate, games, and colouring during the lunch break.

Monday, December 29 – Holiday Cookie Decorating

Workshop Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Arrival: Please arrive by 12:45 p.m. for check-in.

Budding bakers will dive into a deliciously festive afternoon of creativity and fun! Participants will decorate holiday cookies with colourful icing and sprinkles, guided by the Kids in the Kitchen coordinator. If the group finishes early, hot chocolate and games will be available to keep the festive spirit going.

Tuesday, December 30 – Holiday Craft Workshop

Workshop Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Arrival: Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. for check-in and setup.

A cozy and creative morning for young crafters! Kids will work on a seasonal craft project suited to their age and skill level, with step-by-step guidance. Each participant will get the chance to design something unique to take home. After completing their projects, they can relax with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy games or colouring activities.

Thursday, January 2 – Nerf Blaster Battle

Workshop Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Arrival: Please arrive by 12:45 p.m. for check-in and setup.

NOTE: WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED UPON ARRIVAL

Kick off the new year with action-packed fun! Kids will team up for exciting Nerf Blaster games that encourage strategy, teamwork, and friendly competition. All participants must have a signed waiver completed at drop-off. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start time to get set up for the first round of games.
