Notice of Nominations
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the following days:
- Wednesday, September 16, 2026
- Thursday, September 17, 2026
- Friday, September 18, 2026
- Monday, September 21, 2026
- Tuesday, September 22, 2026
Between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the RM of East St. Paul at the Rural Municipality of East St. Paul Office, located at Unit 1 - 3021 Birds Hill Road, I will receive nominations for the offices of:
Mayor (Head of Council), Councillors (for Wards 1, 2, 3 & 4) in the Rural Municipality of East St. Paul of the aforesaid Local Authority.
The nomination deadline is September 22, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. Nominations cannot be accepted after this day.
All nominations shall be made in writing and shall be signed by at least twenty-five voters, or NOT less than 1% of the voters (whichever is the lesser) of the authority or ward (as the case may be), but in all cases by at least two voters. Each nomination shall also be accompanied by the candidate's declaration of qualification.
Nominations may be filed in person at the above location, on the date and hours specified, or by an agent. To obtain a nomination paper and/or candidate's declaration of qualification, contact:

Nomination papers not accompanied by the required documents and not properly filed shall be rejected.
