The 2026 Candidates Guidebook is your source for everything you need to know as a candidate. The purpose of the guide is to assist anyone who is interested in seeking election or re–election to municipal office. It provides an overview of the electoral process in Manitoba, and outlines the steps you need to follow in order to run as a candidate.
The information in this Guidebook is general in nature and intended as a reference for municipal candidates. It is the responsibility of candidates to know the rules and abide by the legislation. You may obtain a copy of the legislation HERE.
