Census shows East St. Paul's population up 3.6%

Information released today from the 2016 Canada Census shows East St. Paul’s population rose by 3.6 percent over the last census in 2011.
The Census shows that 9,372 people were living in the RM at the time of Census, compared to 9,046 in 2011. That’s an increase of 326 people.
East St. Paul is now the 13th most populated area in Manitoba.
The Census also showed that there were 3,263 private dwellings occupied in the RM. The municipality is 41.99 square kilometres and has a population density of 223.2 people per square kilometre.
Statistics Canada released information on population and dwellings today, and will continue to roll out other information gathered in the 2016 national census in the coming months.
