Posted: May 3, 2016

The Rural Municipality of East St. Paul congratulates St. Paul MLA Ron Schuler as he joins the Provincial Cabinet as Minister of Crown Services. Schuler joined Premier Brian Pallister’s Cabinet today at a ceremony held at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.
"On behalf of the community of East St. Paul, we offer our best wishes to Minister Schuler in his new role in the provincial government,” Mayor Shelley Hart said. "He has a lengthy history of building the community and supporting East St. Paul, both before and during his time in elected office, and is most deserving of this honour. We could not be happier to have the opportunity to work with him in his new role.”
East St. Paul also congratulates Premier Pallister’s entire Cabinet and government as they take office today, particularly incoming Minister of Indigenous and Municipal Affairs Eileen Clarke.
The R.M. of East St. Paul is committed to working with its federal and provincial government counterparts in improving and enhancing investments in recreation.  Local priorities include a regional recreation facility and improvements to its active transportation network, which includes the Trans Canada Trail connecting Winnipeg with Bird’s Hill Provincial Park.
