Poutine paradise and a burger bonanza,
all in East St. Paul

East St. Paul favourite Lee’s On DeVries declared best poutine in Winnipeg by La Poutine Week 2021!

Though they came in second over all, Joe Beavers in Brandon took first place, they couldn’t be happier to have the best cheesy goodness in Winnipeg with their entry "Don’t Go Bacon My Heart”.

The support of the local community was overwhelming to the staff and owners at Lee’s and they would like to thank everyone who bought a poutine, helped spread the word, and voted.

To celebrate, Don’t Go Bacon My Heart is now forever on their menu and they can’t wait to continue to make all of your poutine dreams come true.

Lee’s is the second East St. Paul eatery to earn a nod from the food-specific weeklong competition. In 2019, Jonesy’s
Restaurant and Lounge was named first runner up in the Le Burger Week competition for its Ketonator.

Dining options are opening up, so check out your favourite East St. Paul establishment and support local today!
