East St. Paul Municipal, Operations buildings to reopen Oct. 26

Posted: October 23, 2020

The RM of East St. Paul Operations and Municipal Offices will reopen to the public Oct. 26 at 8:30am.

Both buildings were closed to the public Oct. 19 following municipal employees testing positive for COVID-19. A limited number of employees continued to work in the offices, adhering to social distancing and sanitizing protocols recommended by the Province of Manitoba, and others worked remotely.

Following testing of potentially exposed staff members and deep cleaning of both offices, the RM will be reopening both buildings.

All staff are required to wear masks and members of the public who attend the office must wear masks as well. Plexiglass barriers are in place, social distancing will be enforced and high touch areas are regularly sanitized.

Staff members working in the office will be isolating within their department.

We continue to encourage residents to pay municipal tax bills and utility bills online if possible to avoid the need to come into the office.

The RM will have a limited supply of masks available for anyone who shows up without one, but we encourage all residents to have their own mask and use it in any public setting.
