East St. Paul working with other municipalities to save money
East St.
Paul is one of 13 municipalities in the capital region who have joined forces
for the procurement of goods and services to save both time and money.
"This has the potential to be a game changer for us” says East St. Paul
Mayor Shelley Hart. "Over the next five years, we estimate the 13
municipalities will spend approximately $737 million dollars in capital and
operational expenditures. Conservatively, we stand to save 15% or almost
$19 million dollars by simply working together.”
