Plenty to do on CANADA DAY in East St. Paul

Before we know it, it'll be Canada Day, and you can celebrate the nation's birthday right here in East St. Paul at any number of fun and healthy events happening to mark the occasion.

The East St. Paul Farmers Market returns on July 1 with a day designed to celebrate Canada and Canadians.  Events include: 
  • Canada Day lawn games
  • Face painting - maybe you'll get a Canadian flag on your cheek?
  • Bouncy Castle
  • Glitter tattoo artist
And of course, vendors so you can shop, shop, shop!
The Market opens at 10 am and runs till 2 pm. 

The Henderson Highway Legion is hosting its Canada Day festivities again this year and the fun begins at 1 pm and wraps up at 6 pm.  It's a family fun day and there is no admission.  Events include:  
  • Pony rides, petting zoo, large and small bouncer and photo booth
  • Face painting, fishing pond, candy and food scramble, tattoos and a fire truck on display
  • Barbecue food and refreshments for sale
  • Outdoor stage & music man
  • Silent auction & 50/50 draw
Ticket draw for some amazing prizes including a BBQ and $200 meat package, cedar table and chairs and a fire pit and hammock.

The East St. Paul Canada Day Super Run is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle while celebrating Canada's birthday with the community.  More than 250 runners come out to take part in the 3k or 3k Family Run, 5k or 10K distances.  The 5- and 10K distances are MRA certified.

The run is put on by the RM of East St. Paul and Windburn Multi-Sport Academy, along with their sponsors, and all are proud to say that a portion of the proceeds from the run go to Ronald McDonald House Charities Manitoba.
