Fire Station

Our 9 bay Fire Station is located at 2127 Camsell Ave, adjacent to the Municipal office and RCMP detachment.

The building features: 

  • 2 stories. 
  • 9 apparatus bays. 
  • 3 drive thru bays. 
  • 35 ft hose tower. 
  • SCBA filling station.
  • 3000 Gallon Water Tanker fill station.
  • 2 training classrooms. 
  • Dispatch / communications area. 
  • Fleet Net and VHF radio communication systems. 
  • Automatic Backup Generator.

The East St Paul Fire Department is comprised of 40 members with the complement as follows: 1 Fire Chief, 2 Deputy Fire Chiefs, 3 Captains, 2 Lieutenants, and 32 Firefighters. All current members are trained to a minimum of Level 2 Fire Fighting certification.  

In addition, 26 of the members also comprise the Interlake 12 Medical First Responder Program. (I12-MFR)

Each member is equipped with a pager which is monitored twenty-four hours a day to ensure the fastest possible response time.

Although the level of training and experience vary among members, the department ensures that opportunities are available to maintain the highest level of training possible for all staff.


Members meet on a weekly basis for ongoing training.









Fire and Life Safety Education 


Our Department is pleased to provide Fire and Life Safety Education to all members of our community.


We are happy to: 

  • Schedule tours of the fire station;
  • Schedule visits to facilities within the community;
  • Attend community events;
  • Conduct building pre-plans;
  • Conduct fire inspection;
