Multi-Use Recreation Facility

Feasibility Study Underway

In June 2014, ESP Council accepted a proposal submitted by Stantec Consulting to undertake a feasibility study for a Multi-Use Recreational Facility - click here to view Resolution No. 304/2014.
The study is to include factors such as a needs assessment, community demographic profile, facility components, capital costs and operating costs.

In March 2015, the first meeting between ESP Administration, ESP Council and Stantec took place during which a core group of components were identified.  As a general objective, the core facility is to be designed and positioned on ESP property near the existing arena so that additional and/or future components may be included based on community need and funding.  We expect to have a concept design for the core facility completed in September 2015.

Stay tuned for your opportunity to provide input for this exciting project.
